Course content:

  1. General meteorological data (temperature gradient, planetary boundary layer, turbulence).
  2. Buoyant jets from point and multiple sources of emissions.
  3. Diffusion -type Gauss.
  4. Statistical standards diffusion.
  5. Similarity and stepped contaminant transport.
  6. Integral and differential methods for solving transport phenomena and diffusion of pollutants.
  7. Dispersion of pollutants in urban areas.
  8. Mechanisms decontamination.
  9. Transport and dispersion of pollutants over long distances.
Term project, whose preparation and presentation by the student contributes positively to the final grade for the course.
